My husband Gary is a native of Kentucky. Very proud to live in the Blue Grass State. “He calls it Gods country.” I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Kentucky in 2004. Gary and I met in the spring of 2005. We both had very strong dreams about our future and how we wanted to live the second half of our lives. We got engaged in the spring of 2006 at a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Bardstown, Kentucky. The experience of our stay left a lasting impression on us. Little did we know at the time our journey together would lead us to owning our own bed & breakfast in the near future. In May of 2007 we returned to that beautiful Bed & Breakfast and got married in the court yard. We both were so touched at the kindness, hospitality, the warmth and special details, and the smell of the wonderful gourmet breakfast. Our engagement and wedding at the Bed & Breakfast created memories for us both that will last a lifetime. It is a story of a fairy tail experience that we will share with our grandchildren. This is all thanks to the innkeepers who decided to open a Bed & Breakfast and share their dreams with others.

      Gary dreamed of being a fishing guide on beautiful Lake Cumberland for over twenty years. I dreamed of touching peoples lives and making a difference. Our journey lead us to an opportunity to buy a home right on beautiful lake Cumberland.
